Garage Door Electric Operators

Automation of a garage door can be done before or after a garage door is installed but it is best to be done with the installation of the garage door as there is no need to have the manufacturer install the locking handle to the door making the door look much sleeker in design.

The Garage door operator has various methods of operation from a hand held wireless transmitter or wireless wall pushbutton.

A simple press of the button will open close or stop the motor at any position.

And if the worst were to happen and there was a power failure due to malfunction or power outage the door can still be opened via a manual override pull cord inside the garage or a manual external override installed to the face of the door if there is no rear access into the garage.

We use a number of automation systems from different manufacturers depending on the needs of the customer and the demands of the door.

The Auto over pictured above is our preferred system for a number of reasons, Cost effective and good quality and versatile. The motor is basically a rebranded Liftmaster motor with the same handsets and build quality but carries a shorter warranty period.

We also use the Hormann promatic and Hormann Supramatic operators, These operators have the largest range of peripheral accessories available to any of the garage door motors on the market. From styled handsets though to more functional bluetooth capabilities.

We also use Chamberlain lift master operators; these motors tend to be used on much larger than average doors due to the range of lifting capabilities that are offered and their versatility for installation. But the Hormann Supramatic is capable of keeping up with the larger liftmaster motors.
